Dave and his roommates throw the best Halloween party ever. Jeff reviews some stuff. It's announced that dave2n.com and okaysamurai.com will merge soon.

in a few months, okaysamurai.com will be no more.
wait, wait, it's not all over. instead, everything's going to be moved to dave2n.com, where we'll have more room and no advertisements.
it doesn't make much sense for me to be paying for both domain names (okaysamurai.com and dave2n.com) if i have enough room for both. okaysamurai.com just doesn't get enough daily visitors to warrant keeping it around. in a little while, you'll be able to go to dave2n.com and select one of several pages, including this weblog, the second nature site and the okay samurai site. the current oks site isn't updated very regularly so it'll mainly be archived on the new site and continue to be the place where we as individuals or as a group introduce new songs. it'll be 'aight, just trust me, trust me.
by the way, people love it when you make "screaming kenneth branagh" their wallpaper...try it on a friend! you're the man now dawg. punch the keys. all eyez on me. more updates on the way. my roommates might start writing on this weblog soon as well...heck, i'll let pretty much anyone write on this if it means it'll be updated more (except jvan zebari).

i have long neglected the talk.samurai.com section of our website. now i am back (dave, may i mention that i was the last one to post before your numerous posts). time to break up the # of "dave2n" posts in a row. No new news from me (jeff), but I have been working hard despite the number of butt-whoopings i hand out to don on yahoo! gin. (http://games.yahoo.com) I suggest that anyone come out and challenge us (handles: weezerboy4 or donnybaseball). on music news, how pathetic it is, a co-worker has called on me to play bass in a band that he is starting, although we still haven't practiced yet. this will also be hard to do because my bass is still at the guitar god's house (eric espiritu). I probably should get that back sometime. although everyone still asks me when Okay Samurai will be getting back together again. Remember that post a while ago that said I had a $50 gift certificate to Mars Music? yeah, they went bankrupt and are no longer accepting gift cards. $50 down the drain. I guess I should've bought that guitar I wanted a while ago.

i think i'll start a positives and negatives list.........right now.
+ new coldplay album (rush of blood to the head)
+ Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
+ candy
- Beck's new album (sea changes)
- Street Fighter EX3

sorry about the overuse of parenthesis in this blog (my bad!)
that is all, over and out.

i am still not online yet. roommate nick sent away for extra ethernet cables over the internet and they still haven't showed up. never trusted that crazy "internet" m'self, bunch of lies if you ask me. the 103 south washington halloween party was out of control/awesome. we caked our staircase in cobwebs, put a dracula head over the fireplace, got black lights and christmas lights and strobe lights and a colored rotating disco ball and made several tombstones for our teacher friends (personal favorite: "joe manko - brutally murdered by the original broadway cast of cats"). nick's purple "spooky punch" became the highlight of the night, messing several people up (royally, in fact). i was harry potter. i'm visiting jasmine this weekend at uva and just finished burying her and some kids in multicolored leaves on the lawn.
musically? eh, i've been listening to a lot of obscure CDs recently, including our old second nature one. russ and i are excited about starting up some shows and mike's drumset is finally here, so with finger crossage the rawk will soon begin again. i've been thinking of making a teach for america theme song, but finding the time to do that would be quasi-impossible. on an unrelated note, quasi is a great word. don said he's gonna come see me in december but i still gotta go see his house. i want to sorta revamp this site a little bit and be able to post on it more, but that all depends on when i can get officially online. of course, jeff, don, andrew, eric and eugene all have access to post here too, but i think the high level on the nerdiness meter of writing on a weblog has scared them off, but who knows. the archives aren't really working either, dunno wassup with that yo either. so basically i know absolutely nothing. except the punky brewster theme song. pinball?
