Also, I think I'm going to take a break from doing Carrier Pigeon. The response has been great, but they unfortunately take a lot of time to put together - a little too much to be doing on a monthly basis! It was a fun experiment though, and thanks to everyone who helped participate.

And finally, I just want to say how much I love Vimeo. Not only do they have great video quality and features (download the original file, referral list, beautiful design), but they just seem to have the right ideas about online video: that it's not about view counts and blog fame, but more about sharing experiences and stories with your friends and family. This video seems to show that best.

Treasure Island Music Festival

This weekend was the Treasure Island Music Festival. Beautiful weather and a great music lineup (M. Ward, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Built to Spill, Spoon and Modest Mouse)...not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Fortune and Glory, Kid. Fortune and Glory.

★ Easily my most anticipated movie of 2008 (if not my whole life):

★ Remember the old PBS show Ghostwriter? THABTO? Lenni's You Gotta Believe single? Samuel L. Jackson as Jamal Jammy-Jam Jenkins' father? We were looking through old clips yesterday (thanks to the PC input on my TV) and getting all nostalgic. In the immortal words of Alex Fernandez: Ghostwriter. What a trip!

★ The Ghiradelli Chocolate Festival was this past weekend. The Irish coffee from O'Neill's (thanks Mike) and the Ghiradelli ice cream sundae were my favorites.

★ And as some of you might know, my girlfriend April moved out here to San Francisco last week. We've been friends since 11th grade...there's a long story behind it all, but I'll share that some other time. For now, I just feel very fortunate and lucky. Life is good!
