Ceremony & Reception | Travel & Lodging | Weekend Events | Registry
Date | July 4, 2010 |
Time | 6:30 - 11:00pm |
Location | V. Sattui Winery |
Fireworks at 9:30pm |
Ceremony Transportation
Guest transportation will be provided to and from Springhill Suites and V. Sattui. A bus will leave from the hotel at 5:30pm, and depart from V. Sattui at 11pm. Please indicate the number of bus riders in your party on your RSVP card so we can plan accordingly.
Attire
Cocktail or semi-formal attire is requested. While it gets hot in Napa in July, the ceremony will be later in the day, and the courtyard area where it is taking place is in the shade. Ladies, be sure to bring an extra layer in case it is chilly when we head out for fireworks.
Airfare
We recommend flying into San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Oakland International Airport (OAK). Both are roughly an hour away from Napa and our hotel. Sacramento (SMF) and San Jose (SJC) are further away, but drivable if you find a good enough deal.
Rental Cars
Due to the distance between Napa and the airports, and for freedom in getting around wine country, we recommend renting a car for the weekend.
Lodging
We reserved room blocks at the Marriott Springhill Suites in Napa, and although the deadline (May 15) has passed, there are still rooms available. You may call them at 1-707-253-1900, or book online here. Check-in is 3:00pm, and Check-out is 12:00pm. The newly-constructed hotel includes a bar and lounge area, outdoor swimming pool, and free breakfast buffet. It is about a 30-minute drive to V. Sattui.
