MEET THE WEDDING PARTY

BRIDESMAIDS

Mandy (Maid of Honor)
Mandy is April's younger sister.

Kim Williams
Kim and April first met at Lord of Life preschool. They were best friends in class that year, but then lost touch until Kim's family randomly moved in across the street from April's a few years later. The two have been friends ever since! Kim, her sister Stacy, Mandy and April shared some unforgettable experiences as kids...everything from friendship bracelet making to dance shows to fort building to spy clubs. Kim and April then cheered together throughout high school (Go Rams!), practicing for try-outs at Kim's house for hours on end. Kim now lives in Lorton, VA and works for the police department.

Michelle Rose
Michelle and April met in their elementary school Brownies troop when Michelle was in second grade and April was in first grade. At an early age, Michelle taught April pretty much everything she needed to know about student government and cheerleading, which ended up being April's two favorite high school activities. Thanks Michelle! In high school, Michelle also introduced April to fun things like knicker-knocking and horror movies. Michelle got married to her husband Brian in a beautiful wedding this past summer and moved to Albuquerque immediately after, where she started her new job as a veterinary cardiologist.

Steph Wilson
Steph and April became friends during their first year at UVA, when they lived in Watson House together. Late nights spent talking, fun trips to the beach and laughing like crazy about all sorts of absurd events are all memories April shares with Steph. She was probably the single person who most helped April stay sane throughout college. Perhaps because of that, April has followed Steph to Boston and now San Francisco, where Steph currently lives (only local bridesmaid!) and works as Director of Growth and Strategy at Aspire Public Schools.

Julie Agostini
Julie and April first met through Dance Marathon, the organization that was April's pride and joy at UVA. A few years later, the two re-connected as they were both moving to Boston at the same time. Julie and April became roomies and were pretty much attached at the hip during their years in Boston. Fun times spent at the apartment pool, dressing up for Halloween, and introducing pretty much all their friends to each other made for a great few years in Boston. Julie and April also share a tendency towards keeping their lives "full," and have been partners in crime through a number of hilarious last-minute scrambles over the years. Julie is currently living in Boston and getting her MBA at Harvard Business School.

Sarah Werner
Sarah is Dave's younger sister and has also become a great friend of April's. She's one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, and April is so happy to have gotten to know her better over the past several years. The two share a great love for Reese's peanut butter cups and Bollywood dancing (while April just admires it on So You Think You Can Dance, Sarah has actually taken a class - so cool!). Dave and April have been lucky enough to have Sarah come visit them in San Francisco with her family a few times and we always have a blast. Sarah also has some great stories about growing up with Dave - be sure to ask her about them! :-) She is currently living in Burke while studying at NOVA.

GROOMSMEN

Andrew Werner (Best Man)
Andrew is Dave's younger brother, and they've been friends ever since Dave taught him how to crawl out of the playpen. The Werner Brothers got along extremely well growing up; the only real fight they can remember was a kung-fu battle on their backyard trampoline as teenagers. Andrew was a Physics major at James Madison University, and played the drums in Okay Samurai (a high school and college band that he and several of the groomsmen formed with Dave). He currently lives in Washington D.C. and is a Systems Engineer for Systems Planning and Analysis Inc. He and his fiancee Lindsay will be getting married in September.

Don Simpson
Don and Dave met in 1992 when they shared several classes together as 7th graders. In addition to being on several of the same baseball and basketball teams, Don was a constant fixture at the Werner household growing up for band practice in the basement (he was the lead guitarist in Okay Samurai and a frequent songwriter). Don attended James Madison University and is a burgeoning wine aficionado. Don currently lives in Washington D.C. and is a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Jeff Chin
Jeff and Dave met in high school, but they became good friends when Jeff joined Okay Samurai as a bassist in college - Jeff and Don were roommates during 3 of their 4 years at James Madison University. His interests are diverse, and you can find everything from restaurant reviews to photography on his personal website. Jeff lives in Washington D.C. and works for the Washington Post. He and his fiancee Amanda will be getting married in 2010 as well.

Jinsoo Ro
Jinsoo and Dave were roommates for two years in Brown College at the University of Virginia, and then crossed paths again while both working in New York (and eating burgers at The Spotted Pig). Jinsoo was a music major and remains an accomplished pianist (just ask him to play the theme from The Office). He currently lives in Manhattan and works as an attorney at Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP.

Martin Repetto
Martin and Dave currently work together for Minor Studios, a video game startup company. Although Martin lives in Buenos Aires, he and Dave are in constant contact through email, Skype, and instant messaging - and sometimes in-person visits (Dave has been to Buenos Aires three times; Martin has been to San Francisco four). He enjoys kiteboarding, barbecuing, and (of course) video games. Martin is CEO of Minor Studios Argentina and lives in the Palermo Hollywood neighborhood of Buenos Aires.

Bobby Shimshock
Bobby is April's younger brother, and is an avid tennis player and talented pianist. He and Dave share a common love of pwning noobs on the Xbox 360. Bobby is currently a high school sophomore at Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, Virginia.
